and the Memphis Strutters
Oct 29, Nov 3, 4, & 5 – 8:00pm
Tickets: $15 ; Click Here to Purchase
Elviss Simmons was the product of two junior genetecists splicing the DNA of Elvis Presley and Gene Simmons. When everyone had sobered up the next day, they found to their horror, then delight, then horror again, that it had worked just like they had dreamed it up. Elviss has horrible substance abuse problems and a bad temper, but somehow manages to put on an amazing show aping his “Two Daddies” works.
The Memphis Strutters are a set of talented rejects who, through less and less plausible character defects, couldn’t come up with better gigs than this one. Holding the whole thing together is a Stage Manager/Roadie/Zookeeper named Simon Garland. (Jake Woodmansee) He knows precisely how to bribe, threaten, cajole, and trick this gaggle of dysfunctional morons into facing the correct direction night after night.
You will hear all your favorite KISS and Elvis music screwed up into something utterly new and entertaining. If you don’t leave laughing, you’ll at least leave confused.
Show up is Elvis or KISS costumes and receive a price break at the door!
Tickets are available via Brown Paper Tickets in advance. Dates are Oct. 29, Nov 3, 4, and 5! Show up several nights! See if THAT clears anything up!
**All ages are welcome, however this show does contain material suited for a mature audience, so please act as though it is rated-R.
